Coroner IDs Driver, 25, Killed In I-10 Crash In Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA — A motorist killed Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Beaumont was a resident of that city.

Eduardo Jimenez was 25, according to the Riverside County coroner's office.

The overturn crash on the westbound freeway east of Oak Valley Parkway occurred at 6 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.

Jimenez was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, the CHP said.

He was the only person inside the vehicle, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
