Dead Person Found Off I-10 In Whitewater

WHITEWATER, CA — A body was found off Interstate 10 Saturday in Whitewater, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The person was found around 10:30 a.m. near the freeway's eastbound Tipton Road off-ramp, according to the CHP.

Personnel from the Riverside County coroner's office were dispatched to the scene.

Police were still investigating the incident and the cause of death.
