Fast-Moving Brush Fire Burns 30 Acres In San Bernardino
The blaze broke out near Little Mountain Drive and West Edgehill Road.

INLAND EMPIRE — A fast moving brush fire broke out in San Bernardino, scorching 34 acres in minutes and threatening nearby homes, according to CalFire and the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
Crews appeared to quickly get the blaze under control, stopping its forward progress in under an hour.
The blaze broke out near Little Mountain Drive and West Edgehill Road. Dubbed the Little Mountain Fire, the blaze is burning in, "light flashy fuels with a rapid rate of spread. Structure threat in approx 20 minutes," the San Bernardino County Fire Department tweeted shortly before 3 p.m.

No structures were damaged in the fire, and there were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
