Felon Arrested For Allegedly Possessing Stolen Firearm
Upon searching the suspect's vehicle, deputies allegedly found a loaded 5.7 caliber semi-automatic handgun.
MORENO VALLEY, CA - A convicted felon suspected of possessing a stolen gun was arrested in Moreno Valley, sheriff's officials said Sunday.
Deputies pulled over Alejandro Adan, 22, at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday in the 24000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard and determined he was on probation, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Upon searching his vehicle, deputies allegedly found a loaded 5.7 caliber semi-automatic handgun that was later determined to have been stolen, Sgt. Jose Ayala said.

The Moreno Valley man was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of various crimes, including being a felon in possession of a stolen firearm.
According to jail records, he remained behind bars in lieu of $10,000.
