Four People Arrested In Double Murder At Banning Cemetery

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people who had been shot, the pair later died.

BANNING, CA — Two brothers and two women were arrested in connection with a double murder at a Banning cemetery, police said Saturday.

According to the Banning Police Department, the homicides occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday at Summit Cemetery, 2201 San Gorgonio Ave.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people who had been shot, though police initially said their wounds were non-life threatening. The pair later died, authorities said.

Police identified four suspects in the shooting: William Armendariz, 23, Christopher Armendariz, 21, Melissa Armendariz, 45, and Erica Lomas, 23. All reside in the Banning Pass area, police said.
William was wanted for murder, while the other three suspects were wanted for accessory to murder.

All four were arrested on Friday.
