Hikers Rescued From Pacific Crest Trail Near Whitewater

A Riverside County Sheriff's Department helicopter rescued two people and delivered them to awaiting firefighters.

WHITEWATER, CA — Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department rescued a hiker Friday after responding to a medical emergency call at the Pacific Crest Trail.

The incident was reported shortly before 2 p.m. at the Snow Creek Trailhead, according to a fire department statement.
