BEAUMONT, CA — The California Department of Transportation has alerted the public that the Banning Maintenance crew will perform landscape operations on Interstate 10 and State Route 60 in Beaumont, weather permitting.

Caltrans will perform weed abatement and litter removal will be performed on Monday, December 1st, through Friday, December 5th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The following are planned closure locations:

Monday, December 1st to Wednesday, December 3rd: Westbound I-10 #3 lane closure from 6th Street to the I-10/SR-60 interchange and on-ramp closure at 6th Street for weed abatement and litter removal.

Thursday, December 4th: Eastbound I-10 #1 lane closure from the I-10/SR-60 interchange to Veile Avenue for weed abatement and litter removal.

Friday, December 5th: Eastbound #1 lane closure from Beaumont railroad overcrossing to the I-10/SR-60 interchange for weed abatement and litter removal.

Please reduce your speed near work areas to protect crews and other drivers on the route. Signage will be placed ahead to indicate approaching roadway work.
