Local Artist Donates Artwork to Chamber of Commerce at Annual Mixer

Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce, January 2025 — The first Chamber of Commerce mixer of the year set a high bar for future events, with a special moment highlighting local talent and community spirit. Held at the scenic Golden Era golf course, this year’s mixer was packed with attendees, leaving only standing room for guests eager to network and enjoy the evening.

The highlight of the evening came when local Army Veteran and Electrical Machine Engineer, turned artist, Stephanie Estes made a generous donation of her artwork to the Chamber of Commerce. Her piece, titled “Kool August Nights”, was a stunning multimedia creation combining acrylics and watercolors. The artwork captures the vibrancy and energy of the City’s summer concert events, immortalizing the joyful atmosphere with depictions of dancing, kids enjoying the festivities, food, and the overall sense of community.

“I love this work. It shows the whole event. The people attending, the kids enjoying themselves, the dancing, the food. Everything! And I am proud to donate it and have it displayed at the Chamber to keep that event alive,” said the artist during her presentation.

The artwork was presented to the Chamber’s Executive Director, Kevin Saunders, as well as the San Jacinto Mayor Valerie Vandever and a Clarisa Sanchez San Jacinto City Councilwoman, who all graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the City and the Chamber. The piece will now be displayed prominently at the Chamber of Commerce, ensuring that the memories of the beloved summer concert series are preserved for years to come.

The event was a significant success, with the Chamber Executive Director commenting, "Leave it to Golden Era to set the bar for our mixers for the rest of the year." The addition of this priceless artwork truly made the evening memorable for all in attendance, cementing the mixer as one of the most engaging and heartwarming events in recent memory.

This generous donation not only highlights the talent and resilience of a local veteran but also strengthens the bond between the City’s business community and its vibrant artistic culture. It’s clear that 2025 is off to a memorable start for the Chamber of Commerce and the City of Hemet and San Jacinto alike.
