Man Arrested Following Banning Car Chase
The chase began Friday night and ended in the backyard of a home on South 12th Street.

Banning police arrested a man suspected of leading officers on a chase that ended in the backyard of a home, according to the Banning Police Department.
Officers tried to pull over the driver, later identified as William Anthony Quintal, 37, of Banning, of a silver BMW 525i sedan at 10:40 p.m. Friday, police reported.
Quintal allegedly sped off, continued through two stop signs and lost control of his luxury sedan in a dirt field. He regained control of his car and drove into the backyard of a home in the 700 block of South 12th Street, according to Banning police.
Police found Quintal inside the home and arrested him on suspicion of evading arrest, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Quintal remained in custody today with bail set at $100,000, jail records showed.
