Murder-Suicide Suspected In Deaths Of Young Apple Valley Couple

APPLE VALLEY, CA — What drove an Apple Valley man to fatally shoot his wife and then turn the gun on himself remained under investigation Monday.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that at about 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, deputies were dispatched to a home in the 18500 block of Symeron Road in Apple Valley. A woman had called for help after she had found her sister and her sister's husband dead inside the residence.

The woman reported that she went to the home to check on her sister. Once there, she found Jeri White, 30, and Jeri's husband, Aaron White, 34, in a bedroom. Both were dead, the sheriff's department said.

Detectives have determined that Aaron shot Jeri and then shot himself, according to the law enforcement agency.

It's unclear how long they had been dead.
