New Business Alert: Cold Stone Now Open At Morongo
This sweet business is even donating 20% of the ice cream shop's sales on Saturday to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass.
MORONGO INDIAN RESERVATION, CA – Cold Stone Creamery, known for serving the finest and freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes, celebrated the opening of its newest restaurant at the Morongo Indian Reservation on Monday, April 22 at a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Morongo Tribal Council and other dignitaries.
The celebration of the new creamery at 48555 Morongo Trail will be followed by a grand opening fundraiser as franchise owner Jonaid Khan will be donating 20% of the ice cream shop’s sales on Saturday, April 27 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass.
“We are happy to welcome Cold Stone Creamery to Morongo, and we applaud Mr. Khan for supporting the local community through his grand-opening fundraiser,” said Morongo Tribal Chairman Robert Martin. “Cold Stone is an industry leader, and I have no doubt that their delicious treats will attract new guests to our area.”

Named a 2018 Consumer Picks “Top 10 Taste Winner” by Nation’s Restaurant News, Cold Stone Creamery has been serving up smooth and creamy ice cream, handcrafted fresh daily in each store, for more than 25 years. Cold Stone uses only the highest quality ingredients and their signature process of preparing custom ice cream creations on a frozen granite stone.
“At Cold Stone, we’re really in the business of making people happy, and I’m thrilled to be supporting local kids as our way of saying we are very excited to be joining The Pass community,” Khan said.

Cold Stone Creamery is the third restaurant to open in recent months at the new 7,500-square-foot buildingconstructed by the tribe near the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. Built around a central outdoor dining patio, the building is also home to Jersey Mike’s Subs and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
The new building marks the latest step in Morongo’s master-planned development to expand the tribe’s retail, hospitality and service offerings along Interstate 10 in Cabazon. In recent years, Morongo has welcomed numerous national and international brands to the reservation, including In-N-Out Burger, Starbucks, TacoBell, and Panda Express.
