Pair Arrested In $6,000 Beauty Product Theft Spree Across IE
Deputies believe two men were behind a string of thefts throughout Perris, Hemet and Rialto.

PERRIS, CA — Two Moreno Valley residents were arrested this week after deputies linked them to a series of beauty product thefts across several Inland Empire cities, authorities said.
Around 1:24 p.m. on Oct. 21, deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to a business in the 1600 block of North Perris Boulevard following a report of a grand theft. The suspect had allegedly stolen a large amount of beauty products before fleeing the area, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies later identified the suspect as 26-year-old Alex Quevedo of Moreno Valley and obtained a description of the getaway vehicle. The station’s Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team took over the investigation and later identified the vehicle’s driver as 33-year-old Gardenia Herrera, also of Moreno Valley.
