Pedestrian Killed In Moreno Valley Hit-And-Run Crash
Incident occurred at about 2 a.m. at Fir Avenue and Cognac Lane, authorities said.
MORENO VALLEY, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a suspected hit-and-run driver in Moreno Valley early today.
It happened at about 2 a.m. at Fir Avenue and Cognac Lane, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the pedestrian in the roadway with serious injuries, said Sgt. Nathan Kaas.

The victim was taken to a hospital, but later died. No further information was released.
