BEAUMONT, CA — A pregnant woman who vanished in Beaumont nearly four months ago remains missing, and the police department said Tuesday the case is still under investigation.

Cajairah Jae Fraise of Moreno Valley was last seen around 10:39 p.m. Feb. 23. Fraise, who was 22 at the time, was with her parents. The family had stopped at the Jack in the Box restaurant at 89 Beaumont Avenue, but the young woman became upset and walked away from their vehicle, according to police.

It's not clear what was troubling Fraise, who was 35 weeks pregnant at the time. Surveillance footage captured her leaving the area on foot.

Fraise lived with her parents, and detectives searched for more information via the family and friends. Investigators were also reviewing additional surveillance footage from the area, drone searches, social media postings, phone records, as well as places where Fraise worked and frequented, police said.

Missing person flyers were distributed to local and regional law enforcement agencies, and word was sent to area hospitals, mental health facilities, shelters, and other organizations in Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and Nevada, police reported.

In March, police announced that the family was not cooperating with the investigation. Fraise's parents reported her missing the day after her disappearance and told investigators they delayed in the hope they could find their daughter, according to police.

Patch was unable to reach Fraise's parents for comment.

According to police, Fraise identifies as Black and stands 5 feet 7 inches tall. She reportedly weighed approximately 154 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black shawl, black hoodie, gray sweatpants and black slip-on shoes.

Anyone who may have information about Fraise's whereabouts is asked to contact the Beaumont Police Department through the agency's non-emergency line at 951-769-8500 or call 911. Information can also be reported anonymously at crimetips@beaumontpd.org.
