Public's Help Sought Finding At-Risk Man Who Disappeared In Hemet

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A 64-year-old at-risk man last seen in Hemet was reported missing Thursday, authorities said.

Alvaro Caceres was last seen at approximately 8 p.m. Wednesday near Stanford Street and Florida Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a Silver Alert for Caceres on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Caceres is Latino, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 148 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, black and white shoes, black glasses, a hat with ''Starbucks'' on it and possibly carrying a black duffle bag.

Anyone who has seen Caceres or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call 911.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
