REDLANDS, CA — A 45-year-old Mentone man has been released on bail following his arrest last week on suspicion of possessing and distributing online images depicting child sexual abuse, the Redlands Police Department announced Monday.
Joseph Floyd Erickson was taken into custody at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, at his residence in the 2200 block of Mentone Boulevard in Mentone. He was booked into county jail on suspicion of possession of obscene material depicting minors and sending/selling the material.
Jail records show he was released from custody the day after his arrest.

It's unclear what led investigators to Erickson. No other arrests were announced.
