RivCo Corrections Is Hiring; Career Expo To Be Hosted March 29

Prospective employees can explore units like emergency response, transportation and classification.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Those looking for a job in law enforcement that doesn't require experience can look forward to the Riverside County Sheriff's Corrections Career Expo on Saturday, March 29.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., prospective employees can meet correctional deputies and explore specialized units like emergency response, transportation and classification.

The event will be held at the John J. Benoit Detention Center, where attendees can see the grounds and a jail bus during the expo.

According to the department, no experience is needed and people can begin work at 17 and a half years old. There's also no maximum age. The job also includes paid academy training, a "great salary", retirement and healthcare.
