RivCo Man Killed In Christmas Morning Collision Identified

A 25-year-old Yucaipa man was identified as the driver who died in an early Wednesday morning crash, authorities said.

JURUPA, CA — A Yucaipa man was identified as the driver who died in an early Christmas morning crash in Jurupa Valley, authorities said.

At around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Riverside County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to a collision on Limonite Avenue, west of Peralta Place, according to Sgt. Ignacio Robles.

Alejandro Corral-Mendoza, the 25-year-old driver, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner.

The crash temporarily closed traffic between Peralta Place and Camino Real to process the scene and collect evidence, according to the sheriff's department.
