Sidewalk Body ID'd In Riverside County
According to the coroner's office, the victim's time of injury and death are still under investigation.
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A possible hit-and-run victim found in Desert Hot Springs over the weekend was identified Monday by the coroner's office, but details on what happened to him are still pending.
The body of Todd Osborne, 48, was found on the sidewalk along Palm Drive, south of Beacon Way, in Desert Hot Springs, the coroner said. The Desert Hot Springs resident was injured in the street on Palm Drive, according to the agency.
City News Service reported the body was found during a crash investigation just before 7 a.m. Sunday at 19255 Palm Drive, near the intersection of Palm and 20th Avenue.

The northbound lanes of Palm Drive were closed during the police investigation but were reopened by 9:25 a.m. Sunday, according to City News Service.
