INLAND EMPIRE, CA — Three lanes of the I-10 freeway westbound were closed to traffic near Rancho Cucamonga after a double semi-truck crash Monday, California Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred shortly before 11 a.m. when the trucks collided just east of North Etiwanda Avenue. Debris from the crash was scattered across the I-10 freeway, and the #2, #3, and #4 lanes were blocked with debris. Large debris was also in the #5 and 6 lanes, and CHP officers asked for help removing it.

Salvage tow trucks were called to the scene, and a SIGALERT was issued for the slow lanes for an undetermined duration.
