A suspect ran from law enforcement during a Gang Task Force operation in Banning on Tuesday night and a sheriff's K-9 team caught the unidentified person, police said Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the area of San Gorgonio Avenue and Ramsey Street.
"It was a gang task force operation," Banning police Lt. Mike West said in an email. "They had a suspect run from them and the called in a RSO K-9 who apprehended the suspect."
The suspect was not identified. Further details on the gang task force operation were not immediately available.
