Video Shows Burglar Loom Over Sleeping Southland Residents
San Bernardino police say they arrested a "brazen" burglar who broke into homes and stood over residents, watching them as they slept.
SAN BERNARDINO, CA — Police in San Bernardino have reportedly arrested a "brazen" suspect who was caught on camera standing over and staring at sleeping residents.
Police on Wednesday evening shared disturbing, black and white surveillance video dated Feb. 22 of a hoodie-wearing suspect wearing a hat backwards and covering his face with a mask, who they said broke into a home and stood over the residents, watching them as they slept.

Police subsequently tweeted the suspect was identified and arrested.

"His identity is being withheld because he is suspected of committing additional crimes which are currently under investigation," the police department tweeted.
The couple whose cameras recorded the burglary told KNBC their baby was in another room.

"Just standing there, staring at us," one of the homeowners, who asked not to be named, told the TV station.
The homeowners said the burglar also stole a wedding ring and cash, and that he told the baby's nurse, they ought to lock the door.
