Wildfire Burning in Timoteo Canyon 40% Contained
Crews from Riverside and San Bernardino were working to contain the fire that burned more than 12 acres.
MORENO VALLEY, CA - A wildfire that broke out in the San Timoteo Canyon area burned at least 12 acres Sunday.
The fire, which was 40% contained, was reported at 12:48 p.m. near the 28800 block of San Timoteo Canyon Road, on the Riverside-San Bernardino county line.
The fire's forward progress was halted by about 3:30 p.m. and was holding at 12 to 15 acres in size, fire officials said.
