BLYTHE, CA — A 30-year-old woman from Indiana barricaded herself for hours in a residence she was suspected of burglarizing in an unincorporated area bordering Blythe Tuesday before surrendering, authorities said.
Colorado River Sheriff's Station deputies responded to the 1500 block of Pheasant Lane at around 6 a.m. Tuesday to reports of an in-progress burglary, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
Kathryn Grace Webster of Rockville, Indiana exited the residence upon the arrival of deputies, who attempted to make contact with her.
