Belmont All-Stars Undefeated into Championship Game

Belmont Redwood Shores (BRS) 11/12 Year Old All-Stars continue their winning streak remaining undefeated and mercy ruling, Pacifica, today in the District 52 All-Star Tournament. BRS has secured their spot in the Championship game onWednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Belmont Sports Complex.The BRS bats were on fire today with all players contributing to the final score after 5 innings, 26-9.  Brad Shimabuku was the lead off pitcher and also crowned  RBI king of the game, scoring 2 singles, 1 Double and 2 Out of the Park Home-runs for a total of 10 RBIs.  Followed by Dominic Susa delivering 2 out of the park home-runs and 2 singles for 7 RBIs and Noah Marcelo bombing it out of the park for 2 RBIs.    Taylor Douglis delivered hits to drive in 3 RBIs, Nicolas Lopez smoked it to the fence for 2 RBIs and Ryan Anderson nailed the fence for another RBI.   BRS kept the hits coming with stinging line drives by Josh Fong, Sean Lee, Daylin McLemore, Jake Stulbarg, Daniel Friis and perfect bunts were laid down to deliver singles from Luke Bugbee and Noah Marcelo.  Every single player has unique talents and has contributed to this team’s continued success. A special thanks to the super supportive fans and parents and a big shout out to the first class coaching staff, Manager Rudy Lopez and Coaches Kevin Lee and Peter Anderson.We invite the entire Belmont Redwood Shores community to come out and cheer our team on at the Championship gameWednesday, July 10th.
