In the 2024-2025 school year, we hosted our first Lunar New Year artbook contest. Thirty five students in Long Beach and thirty five in Qingdao, China submitted works. It was fun and amazing! Some artists provided me with permission to use their art in other ways, and we made / are making quilts and jigsaw puzzles and mugs with their art on them!

SO MUCH FUN!

We invite students and those with a connection to Long Beach to submit their works for this years's contest. The prompts are The Year of the Horse and How do you celebrate Lunar New Year?
