Preview: Free Holiday Crafts and a Sale of Retired LEGO Sets On Non-Profit Sunday!

We are taking advantage of free parking on Sundays to offer our first Holiday event!

Makersville Services has established a new space on the Long Beach Promenade (375 The Promenade North, Long Beach, CA 90802. We are paying for the space, as we always have, with sales of donated goods.

For those of you who remember Made in Long Beach (it preceded Made by Millworks which was on Pine), we paid rent for our Summer Makerspace where we did game design, Minecraft Modding and intro to the Arduino with sales of fabric donated from a store that had gone out of business 10 years earlier. The owner donated 1000 cu feet of fabric bolts. We sold fabric at $1. per yard to pay for our use of space.

This time, we are paying rent for our new space through the sale of a large donation of LEGO sets that I have donated to the non-profit. Sales will begin at Partake (456 Elm St. Long Beach) this Sunday, and continue through pop up sales at ouro new location on the Long Beach Promenade. That schedule has not been fully established, but expect Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-5 PM to be part of the schedule.
