4 Nights Of I-80 Freeway Closures Scheduled In Solano County
Caltrans will close eastbound I-80 overnight for two nights, then westbound I-80 for two nights.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Caltrans has scheduled four nights of full-directional closures of Interstate 80 next week in Vallejo as part of the I-80 Six Bridges Project to elevate six Solano County freeway overcrossings to allow the passage of new, taller semi-trucks.
To date, Caltrans has raised three overcrossings: Springs Road, Magazine Street and Benicia Road. During the upcoming closures scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights, crews will elevate two more: the Georgia Street and Tennessee Road freeway overpasses.
The first full overnight freeway closure to raise the Georgia Street overcrossing starts at 11:59 p.m. Monday and continues until 5 a.m. Tuesday on eastbound I-80 in Vallejo, between state Highway 37 and Interstate Highway 780/Curtola Parkway. Then from 11 p.m. Tuesday until 4 a.m. Wednesday, westbound I-80 will be closed.

To elevate the Tennessee Road overcrossing, Caltrans' third overnight closure next week starts at 11:59 p.m. Thursday and continues until 5 a.m. Friday on eastbound I-80. The final full overnight closure scheduled for next week starts at 11 p.m. Friday and continues until 4 a.m. Saturday on westbound I-80.
Detour Routes
During the overnight eastbound I-80 closures, drivers will need to take I-780 to state Highway 29 to state Highway 37 where they can re-enter eastbound I-80.

During the overnight westbound I-80 closures, drivers will need to take SR-37 to SR-29 to I-780 where they can re-enter westbound I-80.
I-80 onramps in Vallejo will be closed as needed to safely facilitate the work, and Caltrans will post detour signs.

Free Shuttle Service For Pedestrians, Bicyclists
A 24-hour shuttle is available for pedestrians and bicyclists who need to travel over the freeway at the Georgia Street or Tennessee Street overcrossings. There are shuttle stops on each side of the bridges. The phone number to call for free shuttle service is 415-263-4000.
