Allegedly Drunk Vallejo Woman Runs Petaluma Red Lights, Crashes

BREAKING: A preliminary blood-alcohol content screening indicated the driver had a BAC of approximately 0.216 percent, police said.

PETALUMA, CA — A Vallejo woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Petaluma after allegedly running two red lights and hitting a parked car Saturday, police said. Around 6 p.m., officers responded to a report from a witness who, police said, saw the suspect vehicle run two red lights and hit a parked vehicle in the vicinity of the 200 block of Lakeville Street.

The officers tracked down Rachel Murray, 27, and gave her field sobriety tests, according to police. Murray registered a blood-alcohol content of approximately 0.216 percent on a preliminary alcohol screening device in the field, police said.

Murray was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and was booked into Sonoma County Jail, according to police.
