Caltrans To Close I-80 Overnight In Vallejo
Eastbound Interstate 80 is scheduled to be closed overnight Thursday into Friday; westbound I-80 is closed overnight Saturday into Sunday.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The first of two consecutive full overnight closures of Interstate 80 in Vallejo is scheduled for Thursday night as Caltrans crews work on the Benicia Road overcrossing as part of the I-80 Six Bridges Project.
From 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, until 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 5, eastbound I-80 will be closed between Interstate 780 and state Highway 37 in Vallejo.
Motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 will need to access I-780 to SR-29 to SR-37, then back onto eastbound I-80.

Eastbound I-80 onramps in Vallejo are closed as needed to safely facilitate the work.
During the second full overnight closure, westbound I-80 in Vallejo is scheduled to remain closed from 11:59 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 until 7 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 7. This closure is dependent on weather conditions and may be canceled because of inclement weather, according to Caltrans.

Detour signs will be posted. Motorists traveling westbound on I-80 will need to take SR-37 to SR-29 to I-780, then back onto westbound I-80.
Free 24-hour shuttle service is available for pedestrians and bicyclists who need to safely cross the Benicia Road overcrossing. One shuttle stop is located on each side of the bridge, and the phone number for shuttle service is 415-263-4000.
