Coronavirus: Solano County Reports 135 Cases Monday
Solano County reported an increase of five coronavirus cases from Sunday to Monday afternoon on April 13.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose to 135 in Solano County as of Monday afternoon. According to numbers released by county officials, there were five new confirmed cases since Sunday's report.
Only 25 cases are considered active, but 16 are currently hospitalized. Of all county cases, 36 have required hospitalization and two have resulted in death.
1,855 people in Solano County have been tested for the coronavirus since the outbreak began and the 78 percent of cases have been in people ages 19 to 64.

Coronavirus In California
As of Tuesday morning, Johns Hopkins University reported 24,372 cases of the cornavirus in California. COVID-19 has caused 732 deaths statewide.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Tuesday the state would need to meet six new milestones before officials wold consider lifting the stay-home order.

While there was no timeline for the state's new plan, Newsom said he was "optimistic" that because of social distancing California avoided a worst-case scenario.
"We do see light at the end of the tunnel," Newsom said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
