VALLEJO, CA — Police in Vallejo on Friday recovered firearms after a vehicle stop, the department said.

Officers initially stopped a Chevrolet Cobalt for an expired registration.

An investigation revealed that the driver had no license. A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a loaded handgun with an obliterated serial number, a large-capacity magazine, an imitation firearm, and a mask.
