I-80 Slated For 2 Consecutive Overnight Closures In Vallejo: Caltrans
The freeway will be completely closed in one direction at a time for two consecutive nights between I-780 and SR-37.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Caltrans has scheduled a full overnight closure of eastbound Interstate 80 between Interstate 780 and state Highway 37 in Vallejo from 11:59 p.m. Sunday, June 19, until 5 a.m. Monday, June 20, and a full overnight closure of westbound Interstate 80 between I-780 and SR-37 in Vallejo from 11 p.m. Monday, June 20, until 4 a.m. Tuesday, June 21.
During the two consecutive overnight closures, Caltrans crews will work on raising the vertical clearance of the Redwood Street overcrossing as part of the I-80 Six Bridges project.
Caltrans will have detours in place as I-80 is completely closed in one direction at a time for two consecutive nights. Eastbound or westbound I-80 on-ramps in Vallejo will also be closed as needed to safely facilitate the work.

Detour Routes For Overnight Closures
Caltrans will have detour signs in place. Motorists traveling eastbound on I-80 will need to take I-780 to SR-29 to SR-37, where they can re-enter eastbound I-80.

Motorists traveling westbound on I-80 will need to take SR-37 to SR-29 to I-780, where they can re-enter westbound I-80.
Shuttle Service For Redwood Street Overcrossing
Twenty-four-hour shuttle service is available for pedestrians and bicyclists who need to safely cross Redwood Street overcrossing. One shuttle stop is located on each side of the bridge. The phone number to call for shuttle service is 415-263-4000.

To share a concern about the I-80 Six Bridges project or ask a question, members of the public can call the project hotline at 510-867-6028. The hotline was set up for the traveling public and residents living in Vallejo to learn about the most up-to-date information about the project.
