“Our local police realize that there is a disconnect between their hopes for the community and how the community actually feels, said Jerry Ribeira, President of the BPOA. “They recognized the rift and have a desire to collaborate with leaders who have actionable results in bringing people together,” he continued.
Ribeira additionally commented that he considers Williams to be the right leader for District 2 Supervisor. “She supports our vision for the community and can collaborate with them to bring it to reality by connecting the community to those who seek to serve them. Our communities need leaders who are willing to bring everyone to the table to find the necessary solutions to build effective coalitions to keep our neighborhoods safe for all.”
