Kyle Hyland Foundation's 5th Annual 60s70s Celebration

KHF fundraiser highlights need for community support

Just in case you missed it. . . the Kyle Hyland Foundation made the front page of the Benicia Herald on Sunday, May 14! This article, titled "Kyle Hyland Foundation's Fifth Annual 60s70s Celebration Highlights Need for Community Support", explains KHF's concerns about future funding including State funding that we have yet to receive and have now been waiting for since July 2021. The misconception in the general public about this funding has led to threatening our other sources of funding including City of Benicia funding. It's important to note that one of the potential cuts proposed by City staff (at April 25 City Council meeting) includes funding of all non-profits in Benicia including the KHF. As a result, community support is needed now more than ever! Please consider attending our fundraiser

and, if possible, show your support of KHF and other Benicia non-profits at City Council meeting on June 6 where Council will be voting on these potential cuts.

Shout out to Galen Kusik (BH editor) for this great article!
