Overnight Closures Begin On SR-37 Between Sonoma, Solano Counties
At least one travel direction of SR-37 will remain open at all times, Caltrans said in a news release.

SOLANO and SONOMA COUNTIES — As part of a two-week roadway repair project, starting Monday, Aug. 2, Caltrans will alternate overnight full highway closures on westbound and eastbound state Highway 37 between Walnut Avenue on Mare Island in Vallejo and state Highway 121, near Sears Point and the Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma County.
Caltrans will grind and pave areas of damaged asphalt on the 2.2-mile section of highway that traverses the northern shore of the San Pablo Bay between Solano and Sonoma counties.

During westbound highway closures, crews will also close the westbound SR-37 on-ramp from Railroad Avenue/Mare Island in Vallejo.
Scheduled Overnight SR-37 Closures:
- Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 2-3, 8 p.m.-4 a.m.: Westbound SR-37 Closed
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Aug. 4-6, 10 p.m.-6 a.m.: Eastbound SR-37 Closed
- Monday, Aug. 9: 8 p.m.-4 a.m.: Westbound SR-37 Closed
- Tuesday, Aug. 10: 10 p.m.-6 a.m.: Eastbound SR-37 Closed
Detour Routes
During the work, motorists traveling on westbound SR-37 will be detoured onto northbound State Route 29 to westbound State Route 12/121 to southbound State Route 121.
