Overnight Closures Begin For I-80 Connector Ramp To SR-29
The off-ramp is closed for two consecutive nights this week for bridge demolition work.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA— Crews with Caltrans Bay Area were scheduled to continue bridge demolition work at the Interstate 80/state Highway 29 connector ramp in Vallejo for two consecutive nights this week.
To accommodate the overnight work, the eastbound I-80 and SR-29 connector ramp will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, and again from 11:59 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12.
During the overnight closures, Caltrans will also close the fast lane on eastbound I-80 from the Carquinez Toll Plaza to Magazine Street from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday nights, Aug. 10-11.

At least, one eastbound I-80 traffic lane will remain open at all times, Caltrans Spokesperson Pedro Quintana said.
Motorists are encouraged to use the eastbound I-780 — Curtola Parkway — off-ramp to westbound Lemon Street to State Route 29 (Sonoma Boulevard), Quintana said.
