Parolee Posts Video Of Himself With Loaded Gun, Is Arrested In Nearby Vallejo: Police
Police in Vallejo on Wednesday arrested a man in connection with possession of a firearm after he allegedly posted a video on social media.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Police in Vallejo on Wednesday say they arrested a man in connection with possession of a firearm after the man allegedly posted a video on social media while holding a handgun.
Christen Brown, 20, of Vallejo, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a loaded firearm and on a probation violation, police said.
On Monday, the Vallejo Police Department received a report about a man who posted a video on the social media website Periscope Live.

Police said the man, identified as Brown wrote "I need 100 views so I can shoot my 40" as the title of the video and displayed a black and pink handgun in the video.
On Wednesday, officers contacted Brown during a traffic stop and located the firearm shown in the video, police said.

He was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail.
