Solano County Man Shot In Leg, Rushed To Trauma Center

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Vallejo police said a man was shot in the leg at a residence this morning. The 36-year-old man told police he was a victim of a residential armed robbery by someone wearing a mask around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Louisiana Street, Lt. Herman Robinson said.

He was shot in the upper right thigh and was taken to a trauma center. His injuries are not life-threatening, Robinson said.

The man's account is being considered questionable because there was no sign of a forced entry and a neighbor heard two men arguing at the residence about 90 minutes before he heard two gunshots, Robinson said.
