Solano County Offering Financial Grants to Community Groups Promoting Kids Issues
Solano County is giving grants to support community events that celebrate early childhood and/or promote awareness about kids issues.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Organizations around Solano County that are devoted to helping the well-being of young kids are eligible to receive a financial boost, thanks to a county commission.
April is "Children's Month," and to celebrate, the First 5 Solano Children & Families Commission is distributing grant money to support community events that celebrate early childhood and/or promote awareness about young children’s issues.
Grants of up to $300 are being awarded for community events that help raise awareness about and promote the well-being of young children. Events may include, but are not limited to childhood health and well-being, education, safety and/or school readiness of children up to the age of five.
