VALLEJO, CA — Vallejo police are asking for public help in identifying a robbery suspect who intentionally coughed on retail employees in late March.

The Valley Police Department responded to the incident around 6:07 p.m on Friday, March 27 at a store in the 900 block of Admiral Callaghan Lane.

"Fearing for their own safety, the employees backed away," officials said in a statement. "This allowed the female suspect the opportunity to run from the loss prevention employees to an awaiting getaway car in the parking lot."

Vallejo police asked for those with information to contact Detective Terry Schillinger at 707-648-4278.
