Vallejo Teen Shot In Back While Washing Neighbor's Boat: Police
The 17-year-old boy told police he has no idea who shot him.

VALLEJO, CA — A 17-year-old boy was shot in the back while he was washing a neighbor's boat in north Vallejo on Tuesday night, a police lieutenant said. The teen heard five shots around 8:45 p.m. and fled to a house in the 500 block of Basalt Drive, Lt. Herman Robinson said. The boy collapsed in the garage and was taken to a trauma center.
The boy's friend saw a slim suspect about 6 feet tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark mask drive away in a black vehicle north on Serpentine Drive, Robinson said.
The teen was shot once in the back and his injury is not considered life-threatening. The boy said he has no idea who shot him, Robinson said.
