Warming Shelter: Vallejo Church Opens Its Doors Amid Cold Temps
Sixty beds are available until 6 a.m. Thursday.

VALLEJO, CA — The city of Vallejo and the First Baptist Church Vallejo will open to people and pets Wednesday at 6 p.m. as a warming shelter. Sixty beds will be available until 6 a.m. Thursday.
The overnight shelter opens during extreme temperature, rain and wind. The church will provide a cot, blanket and warm soup. Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, identity, ethnicity, income or religious affiliation.
The church is located at 2025 Sonoma Blvd. in Vallejo. Pastor Mike Brown is the on-site contact.
