Woman Injured In Shooting, Vallejo Police Say

The woman told officers she felt a pain in her right arm and realized she had been shot, police said.

VALLEJO, CA — A woman suffered injuries not considered life-threatening in a shooting late Thursday afternoon in Vallejo, police said. The shooting occurred at about 4:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Tuolumne St. near Solano County Superior Court.

Police Lt. Herman Robinson said the 23-year-old woman told officers she was walking down the street minding her own business when she felt a pain in her right arm and realized she had been shot.

She was taken to a hospital. Robinson said the victim told police she did not see who fired the shot.
