Berkeley Bart Reopens, 1 Hospitalized In Collision On Tracks
Service in all directions on BART's Red Line was also halted but has since resumed.
BERKELEY, CA — A person who may have been hit by a BART train at the North Berkeley BART station on Monday morning was taken to a hospital, BART officials said.
The station was closed shortly after 10 a.m. but reopened about an hour later, according to BART spokesperson Chris Filippi.
"A person has been removed from the trackway and is being transported to a hospital," Filippi said.
