East Bay Food Festival Goes Full ‘Bizerkeley’

BERKELEY, CA — Some of the best vegan eats are coming to downtown Berkeley later this summer in a festival that’s promising to go full “Bizerkeley.”

The Bizerkeley Food Festival 2021 is being billed as the East Bay city’s first and only vegan food festival. The event will feature more than a dozen food vendors.

The festival is scheduled for Sept. 5 at the Sports Basement Berkeley’s outdoor parking lot from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will feature live performances and speakers representing organizations from Berkeley and other parts of the East Bay describing the work they do.

The event will also feature a silent auction in which 100 percent of all proceeds will benefit Friends of Animal Care Services.
