Berkeley Shooting Probed: Report
A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, Berkeleyside reports.
BERKELEY, CA — One suspect was detained in connection with a shooting that left a 17-year-boy with injuries that required hospitalization, but additional suspects involved in the shooting remain at-large, Berkeleyside reports.
The shooting was reported at around 4:40 p.m. Thursday at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, according to the report, which cites Berkeley Police Department sources.
The boy’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening, according to the report.

An altercation involving four people preceded the shooting, according to the report.
