Berkeley Water Main Break Triggers Traffic Advisory (Updated)

There is no estimate for when the road will reopen.

Updated at 2:37 p.m.: The No. 1 lane of Adeline St between Woolsey and Essex streets has reopened, but the No. 2 lane still blocked, police said in a 1:51 p.m. alert.

BERKELEY, CA — A Berkeley water main break Tuesday triggered a traffic advisory for the area of Adeline Street between Woolsey and Essex streets until further notice, police said.

East Bay Municipal Utility District crews were at the scene, police said.

Police issued the alert at around 11:45 a.m.
