Berkeley Woman Stabbed To Death, Daughter Arrested: Reports

BERKELEY, CA — A 60-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Berkeley apartment over the weekend and her daughter, Gabriella Rebecca Reimer, 23, has been arrested on suspicion of homicide, according to numerous reports.

Reimer is being held without bail at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, according to Berkeleyside, and is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday.

The murder was reported at 2:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of University.

The Berkeley Scanner reports that the daughter has a history of victimizing her mother.

This is the first homicide reported in Berkeley in 2024.
