BERKELEY, CA — The Alameda County District Attorney's Office has charged an Oakland man with three crimes for allegedly shooting at a man in Berkeley earlier this month.

Berkeley police said officers responded at 12:57 p.m. on April 11 to a report of gunfire in front of an apartment complex in the 900 block of Channing Way.

Police said witnesses told them the suspected shooter was involved in a dispute with a neighbor over parking. After the dispute, the suspect drove away in a vehicle and fired a single shot at the person as he sped away, missing him.

Detectives obtained a warrant for the suspect's arrest and located him Sunday in Oakland. With the department's special response team, detectives arrested the 52-year-old.
